Training ByteSize runs the very first UK based CP3P preparation course

Training ByteSize was delighted to run the very first UK based CP3P Preparation course for the Infrastructure Project Preparation Facility (IPPF) part of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).  The course ran across five days and was attended by EBRD staff from London HQ as well as Residence Offices across Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Marek Waskiewicz,Associate at the Infrastructure Project Preparation Facility (IPPF) said: “We were very pleased with the training, and the service from Training ByteSize, the trainer was very knowledgeable and everyone that attended passed their Preparation Exam.” Another brilliant example of a successful course where 100% of participants passed their exam.

Martyn Kinch, Chairman of Training ByteSize, said “EBRD have been a pleasure to work with. Their teams are very experienced PPP practitioners and we were pleased to have been given the opportunity to work with them”. Many customers like IPPF continue working with Training ByteSize based on the superior quality of service as well as the efficiency of the trainers.

The accreditation awarding body, APMG-International, launched the Public-Private Partnerships certification program in 2016 and has since seen exams taken in over 100 countries, bringing forth a common standard of knowledge of international PPP best practice. The certification is based on the PPP Guide which is the Body of Knowledge on public-private partnerships, and the objective of the course is to help public officials and their advisors understand how to implement efficient, sustainable PPPs.

“One of the objectives of the APMG PPP Certification Program was to create consistency of terms used in PPPs and to standardise the process for the delivery of PPP projects worldwide, so it’s great to see EBRD staff from different countries have come together to study in the classroom with Training ByteSize,” says Richard Pharro, CEO, APM Group.

The CP3P Preparation course is one of three levels in the PPP certification program, alongside Foundation and Execution. After passing all three exams, PPP practitioners are awarded the ultimate credential ‘CP3P (Certified Public-private Partnerships Professional)’ recognising them as having achieved the complete competencies needed to deliver PPPs successfully.
